Purple is the latest M&M's spokescandy that debuted on September 28th, 2022. She will feature on the M&M'S Caramel Cold brew packaging. She is the third female character introduced following Ms. Green and Ms. Brown.

Purple's first appearance was in 1995, where she was one of the three candidates to replace Tan, alongside Blue and Pink. Purple in this point of time was still depicted in contemporary 2D artwork of the time, with the only image of her being on a graphic tee, where she is seen holding a phone. Additionally, she is not depicted as a nut M&M, but instead a milk chocolate one. As Purple did not win the vote, this incarnation of the character was subsequently scrapped.

Purple has a purple shell in an ovular shape like Yellow and Blue. She has an M on her belly. She has black eyes with defined eyelashes, similar to Green, and dark purple lipstick. She has white gloves, and matching white high top boots. She has thin eyebrows. She has pale purple arms and legs.
